BuyIt Ventures is an equity development firm based in Virginia. We started with a simple observation: the people best at a trade are rarely the ones with the time and resources to build a company around it.
Good operators deserve a real foundation.
Talented people start businesses every day, and most of them run out of runway long before they run out of skill. The problem is rarely the craft. It is everything around it: the books, the software, the contracts, the marketing, the space.
We built BuyIt Ventures to carry that weight. The firm owns the foundation — capital, systems, back office — and builds on top of it with operators who know their field. Each company we build makes the foundation stronger for the next one.
We care that the work is good and that the economics make sense. To us, those are the same thing.

Landon founded BuyIt Ventures to build companies the way he wanted to run them: own the foundation, then build on top, so each venture strengthens the next.
He is an operator first, and a licensed real-estate agent in Virginia. He leads the firm's equity development fund and works directly with each partner on structure, systems, and the numbers.
